It is with great sadness that the club announce the recent passing of one of our club coaches, Simon Gaunt. Simon had been a coach at the club for several years and was a key part of the coaching team working along side Hafz and Pat in last seasons Under 15 teams. I very well liked coach, he worked well with the players and helped develop them in many ways Simon will be sorely missed at the club and our thoughts are with his wife Sarah and the Gaunt family at this time.

Below are a few words put together by Hafz Rahman who is the manager for last seasons Under 15 teams and worked with Simon for the last few years.

I can't end this season without saying a few words about a special someone close to our hearts. It deeply saddens me knowing that Me, Pat and the Boys will no longer have Simon standing beside us at football. Simon was such a kind hearted soul who saw the good in everyone. He was a great Coach and an amazing role model to the boys. Simon's dedication to mentoring the players and supporting the team has had a lasting impact, shaping countless lives and building character in so many young people. Simon has blessed us with many great memories which will forever remain in our hearts. Rest in peace my friend. We will miss you dearly. I will miss you.
